La French Run
La French Run returns for its 5th edition at Stanley Park in SW Calgary on Sunday, September 20, 2026. The event offers runnable routes with a tasting of French pastries after participants finish.
Race options include:
- 5 km run or walk for adults and teenagers aged 12 and above
- 10 km run for adults and teenagers aged 12 and above
- 1 km kids fun run for ages 4 to 10; parents may run alongside at no extra cost
Admission is paid and prices vary. The organizers are recruiting about 30 volunteers for the day and offer a special group rate for teams of 10 people or more. Runners are not allowed to use strollers or bring dogs on the course.
Prizes are awarded to the top three women and men in the 5 km and 10 km categories, mainly as gift cards and partner packages. If a minor places in the top three, the Cold Garden or Metrovino gift card will be replaced by an equivalent-value card from another partner and issued later.
