La French Run 2026
La French Run holds its 5th edition on Sunday, September 20, 2026 at Stanley Park in southwest Calgary (330 42 Ave SW). The event features runnable park courses and a tasting of authentic French pastries after the finish.
Offered distances:
- 5 km run or walk
- 10 km run
- 1 km kids run for ages 4 to 10
The 5 km and 10 km races are open to adults and teenagers aged 12 and older. Parents may run alongside children in the kids event at no extra cost. Strollers and dogs are not permitted on the course.
The 2025 edition welcomed 270 runners and 25 volunteers. Organizers plan to recruit about 30 volunteers for 2026. Admission fees vary by category and are provided at registration.
Podium prizes are awarded in the men's and women's categories for 5 km and 10 km, mainly as gift cards from partners. The kids 1 km includes prizes for the top three. All participants receive a medal, a mariniere-style t-shirt, and a gift card from Yann Haute Pâtisserie. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
