La French Run 2026
The event is the fifth edition and takes place at North Glenmore Park, near the Weaselhead natural area parking, alongside the Glenmore Reservoir. Runners follow paved and packed-earth paths that overlook the reservoir and nearby green spaces.

- 5 km (run or walk)
- 10 km (run)
- 1 km (kids fun run, ages 4 to 10)
The 5 km and 10 km are direct out-and-back routes on the running path overlooking the reservoir; the 10 km also runs along Earl Grey Golf Course. The kids fun run is a 1 km out-and-back on the same path; parents may run beside their children at no extra cost.
At the finish participants can enjoy a tasting of French pastries. Every participant receives a race package that includes a medal, a marinière-style t-shirt and a gift card from Yann Haute Pâtisserie. Prize packages in the form of gift cards are awarded to top finishers, and the kids receive awards for top placements.
Notable rule: runners are not allowed to run with a stroller or a dog. Race package pick-up is available at the Alliance Française and at Strides Running Store. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
