La French Run 2026
La French Run 2026 is the fifth edition of a race organized by the Alliance Française of Calgary. The event takes place on Sunday, September 20, 2026 at Stanley Park in SW Calgary. In 2025 the event brought together 270 runners and 25 volunteers.
The event offers course options for different ages. Participants have access to a tasting of French pastries after crossing the finish line. Strollers and dogs are not allowed on the course.
Distances offered:
- 5 km (run or walk)
- 10 km (run)
- 1 km for children aged 4 to 10
The main races are open to adults and teenagers aged 12 and over. Group registration is available for teams of 10 or more with a special discount. Prizes are awarded to top finishers in the 5 km and 10 km categories, mainly as gift cards and service packs; the kids race awards small prizes to the top three finishers. Every participant receives a participation pack that includes a medal, a mariniere-style t-shirt, and a gift card from Yann Haute Pâtisserie.
