A Scenic Loop in Grondines
La Course du Vieux Moulin takes place on the Terrain de la Fabrique in Grondines, along the Chemin des ancêtres. The event features a 2.5 km loop course that runners navigate according to their chosen distance. The terrain is characterized as fast, consisting of 90% flat sections and 10% slight inclines.
Participants follow a route that highlights local historical landmarks, including a windmill dating back to 1674 and the remains of the original village center. The path also offers views of the St. Lawrence River. The event is organized to allow family members to watch various starts, concluding with a dedicated race for children.

A portion of the proceeds from the event is reinvested into the community to improve local parks, green spaces, and sports equipment.
