Trail Coureur des Bois de Duchesnay : overview
The Trail Coureur des Bois de Duchesnay presented by Hoka is a multi-distance trail event held at Station touristique Duchesnay. The event is sanctioned TRAIL by Athlétisme Québec. About 2,500 runners and walkers take part. The event is associated with Québec Mega Trail; two bibs are drawn at random among participants and must be claimed before May 31. The 48 km race is listed as a qualifying race for the QMT 135 km. Maps and GPX files are provided as navigation aids; on-course signage and instructions from volunteers take precedence.

Course surfaces include single track, wider forest trails, ski-track corridors, raquette trails and some old forest paths. The 48 km route combines ski and forest tracks, long single-track segments, ridge sections and a rocky technical section around km 38–40, with viewpoints on Lac Saint-Joseph and Lac Sergent. The 34 km and 25 km courses also feature varied single-track and mixed-surface sections with lake viewpoints. ITRA points: 48 km = 2 points; 34 km = 1 point. Age restrictions apply by distance.
