Défi Dansereau : 10th edition
Je cours Pont-Rouge presents the 10th Défi Dansereau, to be held on June 13, 2026 at the Centre Plein Dansereau in Pont-Rouge. The event uses crushed-stone trail sections along the Jacques-Cartier River and passes site features such as the ruins of an early 20th-century sawmill, the Grand-Remous dam, and several river viewpoints.
Participation is limited to a maximum of 625 runners. The event includes the following distances:
- 1 km Le premier défi Promutuel Assurances
- 2 km Le mini-défi Promutuel Assurances
- 5 km Le défi des Ruines Performance Bégin
- 10 km Le défi du Grand-Remous du Casse-croûte du Vieux-Moulin
- 15 km Le défi Dansereau de Charbon de bois Feuille d'Érable
A post-race snack courtesy of Sika Sable Marco will be served.
Adults wishing to accompany a child in the 1 km or 2 km races must have an accompanier bib (5 $) or a bib from another race. No one will be allowed in the start area without a valid bib. The accompanier bib does not qualify for a medal or the post-race snack.
Online registration closes the day before the event at 12:00. If spots remain, on-site registration may be possible the day before during bib pick-up. Registration at the site on the event day is not possible. No refunds or credits are available in case of inability to participate. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
