Défi Dansereau 10th anniversary (DD26)
The organization Je cours Pont-Rouge presents the 10th edition of Défi Dansereau, a trail running event at the Centre de plein air Dansereau in Pont-Rouge. The site features stone-dust trails along the Jacques-Cartier River, the ruins of an old sawmill, the Grand-Remous dam and several river viewpoints.
The event has a maximum capacity of 625 runners and includes several race distances on the centre's trails:
- 1 km Le premier défi Promutuel Assurances
- 2 km Le mini-défi Promutuel Assurances
- 5 km Le défi des Ruines Performance Bégin
- 10 km Le défi du Grand-Remous du Casse-croûte du Vieux-Moulin
- 15 km Le défi Dansereau de Charbon de bois Feuille d'Érable
A snack provided by Sika Sable Marco will be served at the finish. Adults accompanying a child in the 1 km or 2 km races must wear an accompanier bib (CA$5) or a bib from another race; no one is allowed in the start area without a valid bib. The accompanier bib does not entitle the wearer to a medal or the post-race snack.
Online registration closes the day before the event. If spots remain, on-site registration is possible the day before during runner packet pickup; registration is not possible on the event day. No refunds or credits are offered in the case of non-participation. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
