Trail Run at Centre Plein Dansereau
The 10th anniversary of Défi Dansereau, organized by Je cours Pont-Rouge, takes place on Saturday, June 13, 2026. This trail running event is held at the Centre de plein air Dansereau in Pont-Rouge, Quebec. The course features stone dust paths that follow the Jacques-Cartier River.
Participants run through a landscape featuring early 20th-century sawmill ruins, the Grand-Remous dam, and various river viewpoints. The event is limited to a total capacity of 625 runners across all distances.
The following distances are available:
- 1 km (The first challenge)
- 2 km (The mini-challenge)
- 5 km (The Ruins challenge)
- 10 km (The Grand-Remous challenge)
- 15 km (The Dansereau challenge)
A post-race snack is provided to participants. For the 1 km and 2 km events, adults who wish to accompany a child must wear a specific companion bib or a bib from one of the other race distances. The companion bib does not include a medal or the post-race snack. Online registration closes at noon the day before the event. There is no on-site registration on the day of the race.
