Kwat Kwat Trail Run
Kwat Kwat Trail Run takes place in the Warby Ranges region and is based at Booths Winery in August 2026. The courses pass through vineyards, rolling hills and grass tree forests and include a mix of fire trail and single track.
Distances include:
- 2 km kids run, minimum age 3, maximum 12 with guardian
- 6 km Cellar Trail, about 180 m elevation gain, no cut off
- 12 km Heritage Trail, about 380 m elevation gain, prize money for top 3
- 25 km Alpine Views, about 800 m elevation gain, mandatory Kwat Kwat lookout selfie
- 50 km Ultra, about 1600 m elevation gain, two loops of the 25 km trail
Cut off times are listed for the longer races: the 25 km event has a 6 hour cut off and the 50 km event has a 10 hour cut off. The shorter races list no cut off time.
Prize money is offered for male and female top finishers in several distances, with specific cash and voucher prizes for the 12 km, 25 km and 50 km events. Post‑run food and drink offerings include wood fired pizza, BBQ, Booths Winery wines and craft beers from Black Dog Brewery.
