Ku'ikahi 10K

Ku'ikahi is the fifth annual event presented by Aloha Racing, held Saturday, March 20, 2027, at Ala Moana Regional Park and Magic Island in Honolulu. The course starts at the keyhole/tennis court area and runs along Magic Island before continuing on the mauka side of the park. The route offers views of Waikiki, ocean frontage and Diamond Head, and finishes back at the park.

Distances

• 5K - one lap through Magic Island and the mauka side of the park
• 10K - two laps of the same loop

Course surfaces are primarily asphalt and concrete with adjacent soft-surface sections; courses are measured three times before race day. Aid stations are placed about every mile with water, electrolytes and some energy options; first aid and on-course medical coverage are provided. Features for registered athletes include finisher medals, cooling towels, personalized souvenir bibs for early registrants, optional race shirts and an optional post-race meal of breakfast burritos and chocolate milk with vegetarian options. Timing uses disposable chips and results are published electronically via a QR code on the bib. Awards are given three deep overall and by age divisions covering ages 0 to 99.
