KTFMC 5K At Gainsborough Farm
The Kentucky Thoroughbred Farm Managers’ Club holds its annual 5K event at Gainsborough Farm in Versailles. This race takes place on the paved farm lanes of the thoroughbred facility. The event is open to runners, walkers, and participants with strollers. To ensure safety on the farm premises, pets are not permitted at the venue.

The race uses chip timing to record participant results. Participants who register by the designated deadline receive a commemorative long-sleeve race shirt. Awards include a Julep Cup for the top overall male and female finishers. Additionally, medals are awarded to the top three male and female finishers in various age categories, ranging from ages 9 and under to 70 and over.
The event includes food and designated race photography. Proceeds from the race contribute to the club's charitable donation program, which supports the thoroughbred industry and the local community. Packet pickup is available on the morning of the event at Gainsborough Farm. Student pricing is available for participants aged 17 and under.
