KTFMC 5K at Gainsborough Farm
The event is the 10th Annual Kentucky Thoroughbred Farm Managers’ Club 5k held on October 10, 2026, at Gainsborough Farm in Versailles, Kentucky, 7200 Steele Road, 40383. The course is a chip timed 3.1 miles run and walk on paved farm lanes.
Runners, walkers, and strollers are welcome. For safety on the farm, pets are to remain at home. Registered participants receive a commemorative long sleeve race shirt when available, and shirts may be purchased on race day for $15 depending on availability; sizes are not guaranteed for registrations made on the day of the event. To guarantee a race shirt, registrations must be completed by Sunday, September 20, 2026.
Awards include a Julep Cup for top male and top female and medals for the top three males and top three females in each age group. Age groups are 9 and under, 10 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, 70 to 79, 80 to 89, and 90 and over. Race photos will be posted on the KTFMC Facebook Page. Food and fellowship are available at the event.
Registration is open with a fee of $30 and a built in $15 student discount for participants 17 and under. The club uses proceeds from its activities to support annual charitable donations; recent contributions have exceeded $100,000 annually.
