KSU Hooty Hoo 5K

The Hooty Hoo 5K is a spring race hosted by Kennesaw State University and held on April 18 at The Perch. The course begins and finishes at The Perch and follows the Noonday Creek Trail. The event takes place on paved and trail sections along the creek corridor.

Participants receive a T-shirt and the event includes an awards ceremony. Food and drinks at the awards ceremony are provided by local businesses and KSU Sports and Recreation. Timing and official results are provided by Start 2 Finish.

Awards are given for Overall Male and Female, Masters Male and Female, and Top 3 in multiple age groups for both sexes. Age group categories listed for awards are 0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70 plus.
