K's For Kids Fun Run
K's For Kids Fun Run is presented by the Port Huron Schools Endowment Fund and Port Huron Parks and Recreation and takes place at Pine Grove Park, 1204 Pine Grove Ave., Port Huron, MI, on June 4, 2026. The event offers short and mid-distance running options along the St. Clair River and has a superhero theme; participants may wear costumes representing fictional or real-life heroes.
Available distances include:
- 1 Mile Fun Run
- 5K
- 5K with 1 Mile warm up
Registration fees vary by category, with adult entries listed at $25 and student entries at $15. Registration opens in April and registration closes on May 21, 2026; T shirts are only guaranteed for registrations completed by May 21, 2026. For participants registered in the 5K, adding the 1 Mile is offered at no extra charge.
Awards are distributed for both distances: medals for the top three male and female finishers in the 1 Mile, and top three finishers in each age group for the 5K, separated by male and female categories. Packet pick up is scheduled the day before the event at the YMCA of the Blue Water Area, 1525 3rd Street, Port Huron, MI. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
