K's For Kids Fun Run
K's For Kids Fun Run is presented by the Port Huron Schools Endowment Fund and Port Huron Parks and Recreation at Pine Grove Park in Port Huron, Michigan. The course runs along the St. Clair River and includes separate adult and student entries. The event sequence places the 1 Mile first; the 5K begins a few minutes after the last 1-Miler finishes. One combined option pairs the 5K with a 1 Mile warm up at no extra charge for 5K entrants.
Awards are given for both distances: medals for the top three male and female 1 Mile finishers, and top three finishers in each age group for the 5K, male and female. Registration opens in April 2026 (dates vary by event) and closes May 21, 2026. Adult registration fees are listed at $25.00 and student registration fees at $15.00. T-shirts are only guaranteed for registrations completed by May 21, 2026.
Packet pick up occurs on Wednesday, June 3 at the YMCA of the Blue Water Area, 1525 3rd Street, Port Huron, MI. The event encourages participants to wear costumes honoring heroes from fictional or real life. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
