Kristy's Kindness 5K
This community 5K on July 17, 2027 honors a teacher who began a tradition of performing random acts of kindness during the holiday season. After the teacher passed in 2021, a foundation was created to continue those acts of kindness throughout the year.
The event is based at Lebhart Elementary School playground, 807 Coolidge Street, Cheyenne, WY 82001. The mostly flat out and back course starts at the school, joins the Cheyenne Greenway System, reaches a designated "kindness point" for a turnaround, and returns to the school where an optional celebration is held.
Packet pick-up options include a Friday before the race at Foot of the Rockies and a check-in on race morning at Lebhart Elementary. Virtual participants will have their race packets mailed when remaining event items arrive.
Available participant options include in-person runners, virtual runners, a quick event of one mile, and a category for those who only want event apparel.
Distances:
- 5K
