Kristy's Kindness 5K : Race information
The Kristy's Kindness 5K is scheduled for July 18, 2026, and begins at Lebhart Elementary School playground in Cheyenne, Wyoming (807 Coolidge Street). The event uses the Cheyenne Greenway System and follows a mostly flat, out-and-back route that returns to Lebhart Elementary for an optional celebration.
The event honors a school staff member who began a tradition of performing random acts of kindness between Thanksgiving and Christmas. After the individual passed away in September 2021, a foundation was created to continue those acts of kindness throughout the year. The foundation is the event’s focal cause.
Packets will be distributed in advance at Foot of the Rockies and on race day at Lebhart Elementary; virtual participants will have packets mailed when final items are available. The course joins the Cheyenne Greenway and includes a designated turnaround point referred to as the kindness point. Announcements and a moment of silence are planned before the start, followed by the run along the greenway and back to the school for the optional gathering.
