Kokoda Challenge - Gold Coast
The Kokoda Challenge on the Gold Coast is a team endurance hiking event that offers three course distances through the Gold Coast Hinterland. The event runs across rugged trails, steep climbs including the Big 5 mountains, creek crossings and extended sections that take place after dark. The course profile includes more than 4,000 metres of total climbing on some routes.
Teams must enter as part of a group; solo entries are not accepted. The event specifies age minimums and completion time limits that vary by distance, and teams must meet a minimum fundraising target before the event.
