Table Rock Trail Races
The Table Rock 15K and 5K take place at Table Rock State Park in Pickens, South Carolina, located at the edge of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Participants navigate a trail system that includes single track paths, stream crossings, and terrain featuring roots and rocks. Both races begin and end near the Pinnacle Pavilion.
Available distances include:
- 15K trail race (noted as approximately 17K)
- 5K trail race
The 5K course follows trails that meander along and across Carrick Creek. It involves a climb toward Pinnacle Mountain before looping back downhill toward the finish line. The 15K route shares the first two miles with the 5K but continues to climb nearly 2,000 feet over the first five miles. This longer course reaches the high point of Pinnacle Mountain and passes various overlooks, including Bald Rock.
The event provides food and drinks at the finish line for those completing the course. Participants receive a shirt and a finisher award. Overall awards are presented to the first, second, and third place winners, and specific awards are given for first place in age groups. Parking is located at the Pinnacle Pavilion.
