About the race
Knacker Cracker is a 10-kilometre trail race held near Box Hill in Surrey. Parking and registration take place at Denbies Vineyard in Dorking, with the race starting at the bottom of Box Hill and finishing at Box Hill Fort at the summit. The course is described as Britain’s toughest 10k, featuring rough tracks and significant elevation: exactly 10.000 km in length, with around 473 metres of ascent and 335 metres of descent.
If Box Hill is unavailable, a Denbies-based alternative (the B Course) is used. The event also includes a children’s race (Nipper Knacker) and a ladies’ race (Knicker Knacker). Earphones are not allowed on the course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
