Kiwanis Kingston Classic
The Kiwanis Kingston Classic is the 42nd running of a community road event organized by the Kiwanis Club of Kingston. It is held in Kingston, NY, in the Rondout historic waterfront section on Sunday, April 26, 2026.
The event includes several course options:
- 10K
- 5K
- 1.5 mile walk/run
A post-race party follows the races and features food, beer, ice cream, and music. The Kingston Kiwanis Club operates a Book for Kids swag program: instead of giving each runner a finisher medal, the club donates a book to a child. Awards are presented for all three races.
Entry fees are listed separately for online pre-registration and race day registration: online pre-registration is $25 for the 5K and 10K, and $15 for the 1.5 mile; race day registration is $30 for the 5K and 10K, and $20 for the 1.5 mile. Gender specific shirts are available to those who register before April 1.
Team registration requires the first registrant to create the team and a password; individual team members join using that password and pay their own entry fee. Team members remain eligible for individual awards. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
