Event Overview
The Fox Trot 5K and Kit Crawl 10K take place at Bellefontaine Cemetery and Arboretum in St. Louis, Missouri. The course leads participants through 314 acres of rolling hills within Missouri's first Level III Arboretum. This historic garden cemetery, the oldest of its kind west of the Mississippi, serves as the setting for both running and walking events during the spring season.
Two distance options are available for participants:
- 5K
- 10K
The event is chip-timed for in-person participants. In addition to the physical race at the cemetery, a virtual participation option is available, allowing runners to complete their chosen distance on their own preferred route during a designated multi-day window in March.
Participation and Logistics
Registration for this event is capped at 250 participants due to parking limitations at the venue. Different registration tiers are offered, including options that include a race shirt and commemorative medal, as well as discounted entries that exclude these items.
Awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers in each race category. For safety purposes, bicycles and leashed pets are not permitted on the course. Proceeds from the event support the Friends of Bellefontaine, contributing to historic preservation, educational tours, and community programs such as Angels Rest.
