Kiristi Singleton Run to Remember
The Kiristi Singleton Run to Remember is an athletic event held in Byesville, Ohio. Organized by the Singleton Family and the Meadowbrook Volleyball Team, the event honors the memory and leadership of Captain Kiristi Jean Singleton. All proceeds from the race support female athletics within the Rolling Hills Local School District.
Participants can choose from several distances:
- 15k Race (9.3 Miles)
- 10k Race (6.2 Miles)
- 5k Race (5.1 Miles)
- 5k Memorial Walk (3.1 Miles)
The race courses begin and end on the Meadowbrook High School track. The 5k Walk takes place entirely on the track. The 5k Race follows a path through the school grounds to Marietta Road and Jackson Park. The 10k course leads to Byesville Park and back, while the 15k combines both the Byesville Park and Jackson Park routes.
The running events are chip-timed and eligible for awards, which are presented to the top overall male and female finishers in each distance. The 5k Memorial Walk is a non-competitive event and is not eligible for awards. Participants who register by June 1st receive an official race day shirt with their packet.
Event logistics include a gravel parking lot located behind the sports building (SHAC) near the football field. Results are provided instantly at on-site kiosks and via text or email for those who opt-in. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
