The Loch Kinord 10k takes place on Sunday 12 October 2025 in Dinnet, near Aboyne, United Kingdom. The start and finish and registration are at Kinord Hall on the A93 between Aboyne and Ballater.

Course and event information

The route is described as fairly flat and entirely on trail, including tracks, narrow paths and grass sections. Some parts can be muddy or slippery when wet; hazard tape will mark exposed areas and marshals will be positioned at points on the course. Competitors must meet the race organiser’s kit guidance: minimum full body cover appropriate for the weather, with trail shoes advised but optional. Parking is limited in the main village pay-and-display car park, with an overflow car park and some roadside parking on the A9158 between Dinnet and the river; marshals will assist with parking. The event is insured and follows SHR guidelines. Refunds, minus an administration charge, are available until 1 September 2025. Places may be transferred to another person until 1 October 2025; there is no deferral option. Only male and female categories will be captured in results for ranking, while entries are accepted as Female, Male or Non Binary. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
