Kinderhook OK5K
The 27th Kinderhook OK5K takes place Saturday, June 12, 2027, at Village Square in Kinderhook, NY. The main event is a certified 5K that is chip timed; walkers are welcome. Proceeds go to local non profit organizations.
Event distances include:
- 5K Race: Certified 5K, chip timed; walkers welcome.
- 1 Mile Run: For ages 4 to 12, free entry.
- 100 yard D.A.Y.S.I. Dash: Differing Abilities Yet So Incredible, free entry.
Entry fees for the 5K are $25 through May 31 and $30 after May 31. KRC and USATF members receive a $5 discount. Students 18 and under pay $15 through May 31 and $22 after May 31; the discounted student rate is applied automatically for eligible registrants.
Race participation is limited because parking in the village is limited. Registration caps are 1,100 for the OK5K, 150 for the kids mile, and 50 for the D.A.Y.S.I. Dash. A race T-shirt is guaranteed for OK5K participants who register by May 12; organizers will attempt to provide shirts for later registrants while supplies last.
Packet pickup is at the House of History, 16 Broad St, Kinderhook, NY 12106: Friday, June 11 from 5:00-7:00 PM and Saturday, June 12 from 7:00-8:30 AM. Awards are given overall male and female and in five year age groups for first through third place. A small number of free entries are available. Participants are invited to bring a food item for the local food pantry. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
