Kilwins Ice Cream Run : Beachwalk, St. Johns, Florida
The Kilwins Ice Cream Run features a 5K, a one mile event, and a 25 yard dash for children. The 5K is a large loop around the Beachwalk community using the 12 foot wide pedestrian trail. The one mile is an out and back course that starts and finishes at the 5K inflatable. The kids 25 yard dash takes place in front of Kilwins in the park lot.
Post-race Kilwins Original Recipe ice cream is offered to participants. All entrants receive tank tops and all finishers receive medals. Awards include overall and age group prizes, with top overall awards that include a year of Kilwins ice cream and gift cards for second and third place. Age group awards and placards are given down to 80 and over categories.
Packet pickup is available at several local 1st Place Sports stores and at Kilwins St Johns on July 23 and July 24, with race day pickup in front of Kilwins in Beachwalk. Entry fees vary by date and distance and are nonrefundable. Fundraising options include individual and team fundraising; teams can be family friends or corporate and the team with the most entries wins a Kilwins Ice Cream Social for their location.
