Kilometers for Kids 2026

Kilometers for Kids is a fundraising event on Saturday, October 17, 2026 in downtown Cobourg. Participants can walk, run or bike along two route options. The event starts outside Victoria Hall and the 5 km route finishes at the Lions Pavilion in Victoria Park.

The event is family oriented. Group and youth discounts are available, and children aged five and under are free. Participants who wear Halloween costumes may be eligible for a prize. After the routes conclude, activities at Victoria Park include free peameal on a bun provided by the Lions Club, pumpkin painting, and a door prize at the Pavilion.

Funds raised support Rebound Child & Youth Services Northumberland. Proceeds help fund core programs in mental health, academic supports, justice diversion and youth homelessness prevention. Rebound reports serving over 1800 local young people in the previous year, and all of its services are provided free to clients. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
