Kilometers for Kids 2026
Kilometers for Kids 2026 is a community fundraising event in Cobourg, Ontario taking place on October 17, 2026. The event is organized by Rebound Child & Youth Services Inc. and offers options to walk, run or ride through downtown Cobourg. It is presented by The Ryan Huffman Foundation.
Participants can choose between two route options:
- 1 km, starts at Victoria Hall and finishes at Victoria Park
- 5 km, option to walk, run or cycle, finishes at the Lions Pavilion in Victoria Park
The day includes a picnic and prize presentations in Victoria Park. Registration includes a peameal sandwich, a drink and one ballot for the door prize. Prizes will be awarded to top fundraisers and a door prize will be drawn from all participants. A prize for best costume is also planned.
Youth and groups of four or more receive discounted registration and children under five are free. Teams are encouraged and fundraising supports the core services of Rebound Child & Youth Services Inc. Rebound has provided local services since 1997, offers free services to clients, and served over 1800 young people last year. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
