Killen Founder's Day 5K and 1 Mile
The Killen Founder's Day event takes place in Killen, Alabama, along J C Mauldin Hwy and at First Baptist Church Killen. It features two measured road race distances and a community finish area with on-site parking.
Distances include:

Timing and results are provided with professional RFID chip timing. All finishers of both distances receive a custom 2026 finisher medal. Runners registered before the t-shirt deadline of June 30 are guaranteed a technical short-sleeve race shirt; shirts may be available in limited sizes later.
Two aid and recovery stations are provided, one at the start and finish area with hydration, first aid, snacks, and electrolytes, and one on course between mile 1 and mile 2 with water and first aid. A coffee truck and snacks will be on site.
