Kids and Cops: Glow Run : Edenton, NC
The Chowan County Sheriff’s Office hosts the Kids and Cops: Glow Run, an evening community 5K held at Elizabeth Vann Moore Park in Edenton. The event supports the Kids and Cops program, established in 2012 to build positive relationships between local law enforcement and youth through mentorship, summer camps, and community events.
Race packets include glow gear for participants. Registrations completed by April 17 receive a commemorative event t-shirt. Registration pricing is tiered: $20 prior to March 31, $25 from April 1 to April 17, and $30 after April 17. All participants receive glow gear.
Awards are presented to the top overall male and female finishers and to the top three males and top three females in these age categories: 19 and under, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, and 60 and over. The event is timed by Run The East, LLC.
