Event Overview
The Good News Brewing 5K Kicks on Route 66 is a series of running events held on select Thursday evenings from April to October 2026. Each event in the series is a 5 km run, walk, jog, or ruck starting at Good News Brewing in Wildwood, Missouri.
Course Details
The course begins at the brewery on Route 66. Participants follow a marked route along the historic road to the Wildwood Greenway trail system and return for the total distance.
Event Features
Each race includes professional chip timing with instant results, a numbered bib, and a fully marked course. Photos from each event are available for free download.
Post-Race and Series Perks
All finishers receive one free beer upon returning to the brewery. Additional food and drinks, such as pizza and other beers, are available for purchase. Participants who register for three or more of the seven races in the series receive a commemorative finisher medal.
