About the race
KF In-House Hyrox is a HYROX fitness competition taking place at McKay Stadium, Kensington, Whangārei, New Zealand on 5 December 2026. The event combines running with functional workouts and offers full and half formats. Divisions include Individual Men’s and Women’s, Men’s and Women’s Doubles, and Mixed Doubles.
The event is fully timed and provides split times. Workouts use weights that are adjusted for each category. Race-day services and inclusions listed for all participants include a medal, electronic timing, drink stations, medical support, spot prizes, a DJ, and a post-finish banana and electrolytes. Race day schedule and wave times will be published one week before the event. Registration categories carry set fees for each division and distance, with separate prices for full and half entries.
The event policy states that entries are non-refundable; participants may purchase optional third-party Refund Protection and may transfer an entry to another person for a $10 fee if the transfer is completed more than 24 hours before the official event start time.
