Keystone Community Center 5K
The event offers two options: a live 5K at Fallon Park in Roanoke, Virginia, and a virtual 5K that can be completed any time between May 23, 2026 and July 30, 2026. Both options use the same 5K distance and have a registration fee of $30.
- 5K (live and virtual)
Registration opens January 31, 2026. Live race registration closes on May 23, 2026; virtual registration also closes on May 23, 2026. Packet pick up is scheduled for May 22 at First Baptist Church of Roanoke, 321 Marshall Ave SW, Roanoke VA 24016, and the morning of the live event at Fallon Park.
Awards for the live race include first through third place for male and female overall, plus top male and female in the following age divisions: 0-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 and over.
Virtual participants may run or walk any 3.1 mile or 5K route during the virtual window and submit electronic proof of completion to receive a t-shirt and finisher medal. The first 100 finishers for either 5K will receive a finisher medal. T shirt guarantee applies through May 11; sizes are assigned afterward while quantities last.
A published weather and safety policy lists possible actions such as cancellation or delay. Race direction will consult emergency services on decisions, and race officials will use bicycle notification and announcements at the start and finish area during the live event.
