Event overview
The Key City Classic takes place in downtown Vicksburg, MS, on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at the corner of Cherry Street and Grove Street. The event includes these distances:
- 10K run
- 5K run
- 5K walk
- 1-mile fun run (ages 12 and younger)
The 10K run, 5K run, and 5K walk are open to all ages. The 1-mile fun run is restricted to children 12 and younger.
Logistics and awards
Packet pick up is scheduled for Friday, April 24 at Grace Christian Counseling Center, 1414 Cherry St, Vicksburg, MS, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Registration fees are listed as inclusive of mandatory charges; early registration pricing and later registration pricing periods are noted on the event materials.
Overall, Masters, and Grand Masters awards will be given for the 10K run, 5K run, and 5K walk. Each race also awards 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places in these age brackets: 19 and under; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70-79; and 80 and older. The Key City Classic is a fundraiser for Grace Christian Counseling Center, a non-profit that provides mental health counseling, education, and services.
