Event Overview
The Key City Classic is a running and walking event taking place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, in downtown Vicksburg, Mississippi. The event starts at the corner of Cherry Street and Grove Street.
Distances
The event offers four activities:
- 10K run
- 5K run
- 5K walk
- 1 mile fun run (for participants aged 12 and younger)
Event Day
The event is held alongside the Old Courthouse Museum's Spring Flea Market, which features over 100 vendor booths and attracts thousands of attendees. Participants are invited to visit the flea market after the race.
Awards
Awards are given for the 10K run, 5K run, and 5K walk in the Overall, Masters, and Grand Masters categories. Each of these three races also awards 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in standard age brackets from 19 & under to 80 and older.
Fundraising
The event is a fundraiser for Grace Christian Counseling Center, a non-profit organization providing mental health services. This marks the 18th annual race hosted by the center.
Additional Information
Packet pickup is available on Friday, April 24, at the Grace Christian Counseling Center on Cherry Street. Registrations completed after a certain date will receive their bib on the morning of the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
