Kew Gardens 10K : event overview
The Kew Gardens 10 km takes place on 3rd April 2027 inside the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew in southwest London. The route runs on fully closed roads within the botanic gardens and passes key attractions including the Palm House, the Temperate House and The Hive.
The course is professionally measured and certified and carries a Run England race licence (29894). The terrain is flat tarmac with a small net drop and limited elevation gain across the route. Official chip timing is used and Xempo pacemakers will be available. The course is fully marshalled, with sweep marshals and full first aid cover in place.
On-course facilities include a water station at 4.7 km and toilets near 1.5 km, 3 km and 7.5 km. Finishers receive a medal, a technical event T-shirt with a female cut option, a goody bag and post-race snacks and drink. Prizes are awarded to the top three finishers, who also receive entry into a future Run-Fest event.
Each race place includes free entry for up to two adults and two children (under 16) to enter Kew Gardens as spectators; spectators must enter the Gardens before the gates close for the race start.
