Keswick Half Marathon
The Keswick Half Marathon takes place on Sunday 19 September 2027 and is the 45th edition of the event. The course covers 13.1 Miles and runs from Portinscale into the Newlands Valley, beneath Cat Bells, along the west shore of Derwentwater to Grange and back to Keswick through the Borrowdale Valley, finishing at Keswick Rugby Club.
The event is organised solely by volunteers and all proceeds support grassroots rugby in Keswick. Funds are used to operate coaching and equipment for junior boys and girls age groups and for senior men’s and women’s teams. The club relies on a team of more than 65 volunteer marshals from the club and the local community to staff the clubhouse and the course.
Entry opens on 20 September 2026 at 15:00. Early entry pricing is available through 30 September 2026; fee levels change after that date. Race numbers are available for collection from Keswick Rugby Club on the day before the race and on race day as stated by the organiser.
