Keswick Half Marathon
The Keswick Half Marathon takes place on Sunday 20 September 2026 and is organised by Keswick Rugby Club. The event distance is 13.1 miles (13 miles 192.5 yards). Entry price is £37.00 plus fees. Registration closes on 18 September 2026 at 19:00.
Route and organisation
The race starts in Portinscale and finishes at Keswick Rugby Club. The route goes into the Newlands Valley under Cat Bells, follows the west shore of Derwentwater to Grange, and returns to Keswick via the Borrowdale Valley. The event is run by volunteers; more than 65 volunteer marshals support the club and the course. All proceeds are used to support grassroots rugby in Keswick, including coaching and equipment for junior teams (from tiny tots to U18s) and senior men’s and women’s teams.
