Kerstetter 5K
The Kerstetter 5K is a memorial event held in Elyria, Ohio at 18 West Avenue on July 11, 2026. The event began in 2010 to honor a police officer who died earlier that year and continues as a community remembrance event.
Multiple event formats are offered on the day, including in-person and virtual options. Registration opens March 14, 2026. Registration deadlines vary by event, with some registrations closing on July 11, 2026 and the LEO Formation Run closing June 29, 2026. Fees differ by event.
Awards are given to the Top Male and Top Female overall finishers. Placer medals are awarded to the top three finishers in each age category: 17 & Under; 18-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-64; 65 & Up.
