12th Annual Keris Kares Royal Run: The Superhero Edition
The 12th annual Keris Kares Royal Run is scheduled for May 16, 2026 in Historic Downtown Newnan, starting on Court Square (22 W Court Square, Newnan, GA 30263). The event includes a post-race Family Fun Day at First Avenue Park, two blocks south of the Court Square, with characters, games, a petting zoo, food trucks, face painting, and other activities. Parking for the race and Fun Day is available near 72 Greenville St. at the Coweta County Courthouse and nearby open spaces.

Entry fees listed in the event information are $20 for the 1 Mile, $30 for the 5K, and $20 for the Virtual entry; the 5K fee increases after May 9, 2026. Virtual registration ends April 26, 2026; participants registered by April 27 are guaranteed t-shirts. Packet pickup is available on May 15 at Dragonfly Running Company (10 LaGrange Street, Newnan) and at a storefront in the Publix shopping center (1111 Lower Fayetteville Rd Ste 200, Newnan). Day-of registration is offered on race day.
Awards are given for overall male and female, overall masters male and female, and top male and female in age groups from 10 & under through 70 & over. A portion of proceeds supports the Family Emergency Fund, Keris Kares 4 the Arts program, and the Food for Families Program (serving Coweta, Fayette, Fulton, and Heard counties). Virtual participants can use RaceJoy for GPS progress alerts and live tracking; participants must carry a phone and RaceJoy does not provide official race timing.
