12th Annual Keris Kares Royal Run: The Superhero Edition
The event is a community charity run in Historic Downtown Newnan, starting on Court Square. It features in-person and virtual options and directs proceeds to a Family Emergency Fund, the Keris Kares 4 the Arts program, and a Food for Families program serving multiple counties. The run honors a child who bravely faced Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG) and aims to support families affected by childhood cancer.

Packet pickup is offered on May 15, 2026 at Dragonfly Running Company and at Deidre Bembry State Farm. A post-race Family Fun Day at First Avenue Park includes characters, games, a petting zoo, food trucks, and face painting. Race organizers provide free RaceJoy live tracking and GPS progress alerts for the virtual 5K; participants must carry a phone and RaceJoy does not provide official race timing.
Awards are given for overall male and female, overall masters, and top male and female in multiple age groups ranging from 10 and under through 70 and over. Sponsorship levels are listed from Partner to Royal, with tiers starting at one hundred dollars up to five thousand dollars and above.
