Kent Cornucopia Days 5K
Kent Cornucopia Days is a certified, chip timed 5K that starts and finishes at Three Friends Fishing Hole and follows the Green River Trail north. The course continues around Briscoe Park, briefly passes into Tukwila, and then returns to the start. Course certification and chip timing are provided by Bell Lap Productions.
Registration options and fees are published for the event period. The basic entry without a shirt is $20. A race entry with a shirt is $35 when the shirt is ordered by June 12; shirts are not available on race day. Race day entry without a shirt is $25. Participants aged 60 and over have a reduced entry fee of $15, with a shirt available for an additional $15. Early packet pick up is scheduled for July 9 at RoadRunner Sports, Kent Station. Registration opens April 29 and closes July 10.
Awards are given to the top five finishers in each age group and to overall winners. The awards ceremony is scheduled to occur about 20 minutes after the first finisher crosses the line. Parking for the event is located at Columbia Distributing; participants are asked not to park in neighboring businesses. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
