Kent Cornucopia Days 5K
Kent Cornucopia Days 5K is an annual summer run and walk held as part of the Cornucopia Days events. The course is described as flat and smooth, beginning and ending at Three Friends Fishing Hole (20025 Russell Road) and following the Green River Trail.
The route heads north around Briscoe Park and extends slightly into Tukwila before returning to Three Friends the same way. The event includes awards for the top five finishers in each age group as well as overall winners.
Registration opens in late April. Fee options listed are $20 without a shirt, $35 with a shirt, and a race day fee of $25; the shirt order deadline is June 12. Early packet pick up is available at Road Runner Sports at Kent Station on the Thursday before the race. Day of registration is offered but shirts are not available for those registrants.
Dogs are not permitted on the course. Strollers are allowed and participants using strollers are asked to position themselves appropriately at the start. Parking is directed to Columbia Distributing and participants are asked not to use neighboring warehouse or business parking lots.
Booth and sponsorship space is available for community partners. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
