The route follows easy-to-navigate canal, river, and railway towpaths, passing through scenic English countryside and notable landmarks like the Caen Hill flight of 29 locks. The race offers support with feed stations approximately every 25 miles and allows support crews and buddy runners from the 77.5-mile point.
