Kennet & Avon Canal 145 Mile Race
The Kennet & Avon Canal 145 Mile Race (KACR) is a challenging non-stop ultra running event held in the UK, covering 145 miles from Little Venice, London, to Bristol. The route follows easy-to-navigate canal, river, and railway towpaths, including the Grand Union Canal, Jubilee River, Thames Path, Kennet & Avon Canal, and River Avon Path, showcasing picturesque English countryside. A highlight is the descent of the Caen Hill flight of 29 locks, a notable waterway wonder.
The race offers support with feed stations approximately every 25 miles and allows buddy runners from mile 77.5. It is part of the Canalslam series and has a 45-hour time limit. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
