About the race
The Standard Chartered Great City Race is a corporate running event in the City of London scheduled for 23 April 2027. The event is organised as a team challenge for colleagues who take part together outside the work setting and on a shared course.
The race is a 5K event that follows a city route passing recognisable London landmarks, including St Paul’s Cathedral and the Bank of England. Event imagery shows runners on London Wall and at a marked finish line.
One third of each entry fee is donated to the Standard Chartered Foundation. The event materials also reference fundraising activity and volunteer roles, with information available for those interested in volunteering.
