Kennesaw Grand Prix Race Series: Nightmare on Main 5K
The event on October 31, 2026 takes place in downtown Kennesaw at 2958 North Main Street and is the final race of the 2026 Kennesaw Grand Prix Race Series. The main course is a USATF certified, flat, paved 5K that passes through Swift-Cantrell Park and into historic downtown Kennesaw.
The event program includes the following distances:
- 5K - USATF certified 5K on a paved route
- 1 Mile - 1 mile fun run
- Tot Trot - short children’s race
Shirt and registration details are set by deadlines and pricing tiers. To be guaranteed a race shirt, registration must be completed by October 25, 2026; registrations may continue through race morning but shirts are not guaranteed after the deadline. Pricing examples listed by the organizer include early bird, regular, pre-deadline, and race day rates with additional processing fees. Beginning February 21, 2026 a $5 children’s discount is applied automatically for each 5K registrant aged 10 and under; that discount cannot be combined with a series discount. The series has a no refund policy and offers the option to purchase event insurance during registration.
Packet pick-up is available the morning of the event and on October 29 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Big Peach Running Co., 1625 Ridenour Blvd, Kennesaw, GA.
