Kennesaw Grand Prix Race Series: Nightmare on Main 5K
The Nightmare on Main is the final race of the 2026 Kennesaw Grand Prix Race Series, held in Kennesaw, Georgia on October 31, 2026. The event centers on a USATF-certified, paved 5K course that passes through Swift Cantrell Park and continues into historic downtown Kennesaw. Participants may wear Halloween costumes.
Additional race distances and activities are offered for families and youth:
- 5K road race on a USATF-certified paved course through Swift Cantrell Park and downtown Kennesaw
- 1 Mile fun run
- Tot Trot youth event
A race shirt deadline is in place: registrations received by October 25, 2026 are guaranteed a race shirt; registrations may continue through race morning but shirts are not guaranteed after the deadline. Packet pick-up is available the morning of the event and on Thursday, October 29 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Big Peach Running Co., Kennesaw (1625 Ridenour Blvd).
Free public parking is listed at Adams Park and other nearby locations; limited parking is available at Kennesaw First Baptist Church with access via Moon Station Road. The event schedule includes a family-friendly sequence of runs and an awards ceremony. The series notes a no refund policy and offers optional event insurance during registration.
