Kennesaw Grand Prix: Nightmare on Main
The Nightmare on Main is the final event of the 2026 Kennesaw Grand Prix Series, held in the heart of historic downtown Kennesaw, Georgia. The event features multiple distances catering to different age groups and abilities:
- 5 km (USATF-certified)
- 1 mile Fun Run
- Tot Trot
The course is a flat, paved route that passes through Kennesaw’s Swift-Cantrell Park and the historic downtown area. The 5 km path is USATF-certified, making it suitable for participants seeking verified personal records. The event also includes a dedicated wheelchair start for the 5 km distance.
Packet pick-up is available the morning of the race at the event site, or earlier on Thursday, October 29, at Big Peach Running Co. in Kennesaw. Free public parking is provided at several nearby locations, including Adams Park and designated lots at the Kennesaw First Baptist Church and Revival on Main.
Participants are encouraged to wear Halloween costumes for the race. Those who register by October 25 are guaranteed a race t-shirt. An awards ceremony follows the completion of the runs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
