Kennesaw Grand Prix: Nightmare on Main 5K
The Nightmare on Main 5K is the final race of the 2026 Kennesaw Grand Prix Race Series in Kennesaw, Georgia. The event is centered at 2958 North Main Street and uses a paved, USATF certified course that passes through Swift-Cantrell Park into historic downtown Kennesaw. The event has a Halloween theme and participants are invited to wear costumes.
Event offerings include:
- 5K on a paved USATF certified course through Swift-Cantrell Park and downtown
- 1 Mile fun run
- Tot Trot for young children
Registration remains open through race morning; registrants who register by Sunday, October 25 are guaranteed a race shirt. After February 21, a $5 children’s discount is automatically applied for each 5K registrant age 10 and under, subject to the stated restrictions. The series has a no refund policy and event insurance is offered during registration.
Packet pickup is available the morning of the event and on Thursday, October 29 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Big Peach Running Co. Kennesaw, 1625 Ridenour Blvd, Kennesaw, GA 30152. Free public parking is listed at Adams Park, limited parking is available at Kennesaw First Baptist Church with back lot access via Moon Station Road, and additional parking is noted along Lewis Street and behind Revival on Main including the first floor of the Revival on Main parking deck.
