Registration and awards
The in-person 5K registration includes a t-shirt and finishers receive a medal. Race day registrants may register on site but will not receive a t-shirt. The 5-hour entry has a separate fee and a t-shirt can be purchased when registering for that event.
Charity, services, and logistics
Proceeds are turned over to the Vermilion County Animal Shelter. Participants are asked to bring donations such as cash, pet food, newspaper, kitty litter, cleaning and grooming supplies, collars, and leashes. The shelter will have animals on site; attendees may walk or run with a dog and interact with cats. Lunch will be available for purchase. Participants are advised to bring their own drinks, snacks, and lawn chairs. KRR will pay the adoption fees for the first adoption on the day.
