Kennekuk Road Runners Fall Frenzy 2026
The Kennekuk Road Runners Fall Frenzy is a members only, no-fee event held at Kennekuk County Park, White Oak Barn, in Danville, Illinois on October 24, 2026. The event uses three marked out and back trails: Hidden Valley, River Bluff, and Lookout Point.
Participants may complete one, two, or all three trails in any order. At the turnaround point of each trail there is an item left by the event characters Daisy, Duke and Scary; participants are asked to retrieve these items and return them to help with the event mission. Returning items also earns entries into up to three prize drawings.
The drawings include a raffle for entries to the 2027 KRR Grand Slam events, listed as Siberian, Mountain Goat, Mingo, and Wild Wild Wilderness. The event description notes fundraising and park stewardship as part of the activity, and that the characters are participating again this year.
