Event Overview
The Kendall Mountain Run takes place in Silverton, Colorado. The event offers two distances: a 12 Miler and an 11K.
Course Details
The race starts in downtown Silverton. The course follows a jeep road to the summit of Kendall Mountain. The final section to the summit involves a 250-foot vertical scramble. The summit is at 13,066 feet, offering views of the town and the San Juan Mountains. The starting elevation is 9,318 feet. Participants climb to the summit and then descend down the backside of the mountain, reconnecting to the jeep road before finishing in Memorial Park in downtown Silverton.
The race is a cupless event. No paper cups will be available at aid stations. Runners are responsible for carrying their own hydration container, such as a cup, bottle, or hydration vest.
Additional Information
A Silverton Mountain Duo option is available for participants who also run a Silverton Alpine event the day before. This combo provides a discount.
