About the race
Kelpies Half Marathon, held at Helix Park in Falkirk, Scotland, starts and finishes at the Kelpies. The 2nd edition takes place on 27 September 2025 and features a flat, fast half-marathon course designed for PBs, suitable for both seasoned and new runners. The route circles the Firth of Forth twice, crossing the Clackmannanshire Bridge and returning over the Kincardine Bridge, with dramatic views of the Forth, the two bridges, and the Kelpies.
Runners pass through Skinflats and canal paths, with a short 30m hill near Kincardine. Highlights include chip timing, a commemorative finishers medal and T-shirt, water stations, a supporters’ village finish, and a sustainability stance.
