Christmas Cracker
Christmas Cracker is a festive running event organised by North Lanarkshire Council at Broadwood Stadium on 13th December. The event features several short-distance races and a main 5k event that is open to participants over the age of 12.
Event distances and fees:
- 5k, open to participants over 12; entry £14.69; entries close 5th December 2026
- 1K, entry £8.49; entries close 12th December 2026
- 400m, entry £5.49; entries close 12th December 2026
- Toddler Dash, entry £5.49; entries close 12th December 2026
Each registrant receives a race pack that includes a Race Number, Timing Chip, and a Festive T-shirt plus a Santa Hat or Antlers. Race packs must be collected on the day at the registration area.
On completion, participants receive fruit, water, and a festive medal; all participants receive a unique finishers medal. The organiser encourages participants to wear festive clothing during the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
