Kellogg Firecracker 5k
Kellogg Firecracker 5k takes place on July 4, 2026, in Kellogg, Idaho. The event is a community 5K walk/run covering 3.1 miles. The course starts in the pool parking lot and follows a paved loop through downtown Kellogg, climbs into Wardner, continues along the Trail of the Cd'As, and finishes at the Oddfellows picnic area east of the pool near the ball field.
The route will be marked with chalk or other signage, and the full route is available on Map My Run. There will be no street closures. Sidewalks in Kellogg are not in the best shape, so running in the street will be safer at times; proper runners etiquette is to run against the flow of traffic whenever possible.
The event will not be timed. Two registration options are listed: a 5K with a shirt for a fee and a 5K without a shirt at no fee. Registration periods for the two options differ. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
