Event Overview
The Kellogg Firecracker 5k is held on July 4th in Kellogg, Idaho. It is a single distance event: a 5K walk or run. The event is not timed.
Course Information
The race starts at the pool parking lot. Participants follow a paved loop through downtown Kellogg, climb into the Wardner area, and run along the Trail of the Cd'As. The finish is at the Oddfellows picnic area, east of the pool near the ball field. The route will be marked with chalk or signage. The full course map is available via Map My Run. There will be no street closures. Participants are advised that local sidewalks are uneven, so running in the street may be safer at times; runners should go against the flow of traffic.
Registration Details
There are two registration options. The "5K walk/run WITH SHIRT" option costs $25. The "5K walk/run NO SHIRT" option is free. Participants who want a shirt must register by June 24, 2025. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
