The Kellogg Firecracker 5k takes place on Saturday, July 4, 2026, in Kellogg, ID (zip 83837). The event offers two entry options:

Course and logistics
The course starts in the pool parking lot at 2 Hill St and follows a paved loop through downtown Kellogg, climbs up into Wardner, continues along the Trail of the Cd'A's, and finishes at the Oddfellows picnic area east of the pool near the ball field. The route will be marked with chalk or other signage and a full route is available on Map My Run. There will be no street closures. Because some sidewalks are in poor condition, participants are advised that running in the street may be safer at times and to run against the flow of traffic when possible.
