2026 Jackass Half Marathon & 5K
The Jackass Half Marathon & 5K takes place on October 3, 2026, in Kellogg, Idaho. Races run on the paved Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes from historic Wallace to Uptown Kellogg. The courses are point to point and are described as mostly downhill, following the Coeur d'Alene River and passing through the foothills of the Silver Valley during the fall season.

Registration uses tiered pricing with early, spring, summer, and fall periods; listed fees are inclusive of mandatory charges. Sub events show separate availability and pricing for the half marathon, 5K, and a walkers-only half marathon start.
The Kid's Jackass Half Marathon is non timed and non competitive. Participants complete 12 miles on their own before race day through running, walking, biking, swimming, or other sport activities, have each mile signed off by a parent or coach, and then finish the last 1.1 mile on race day. Participants must be able to walk and be no older than 13 years on race day. All kid participants receive a t shirt.
