Jackass Half Marathon & 5K
The Jackass Half Marathon and 5K take place in Kellogg, Idaho on October 3, 2026. Races use the paved Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes with the half marathon starting in historic Wallace and finishing in Uptown Kellogg.
The half marathon is a point to point course that is mostly downhill and follows the Coeur d'Alene River through the foothills of the Silver Valley in fall. The 5K starts near Elizabeth Park and finishes in Kellogg on the same trail. A walkers only sub event is offered with specific pace and finishing restrictions.
Additional event programming includes a Kid's Jackass Half Marathon. That kid's event is non timed and combines logging miles before race day with finishing the last 1.1 mile on race day; participants who complete the log receive a Kid's Jackass Half Marathon t shirt.
