Jackass Half Marathon & 5K : Kellogg, Idaho, October 3, 2026
The Jackass Half Marathon & 5K is the seventh annual running event held in early October in Kellogg, Idaho. Races use the paved Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes and run point-to-point from Wallace to Uptown Kellogg. The half marathon course is mostly downhill and follows the Coeur d'Alene River through the foothills of the Silver Valley.

The Kid's Jackass Half Marathon is a non-timed, non-competitive program. Participants complete 12 miles on their own before the event and then finish the last 1.1 mile on race day. Entrants must be old enough to walk and no older than 13 on race day; all kid participants receive a t-shirt.
There is a walkers-only subevent with specific entry rules that require participants to walk for the entire route. Registration fees and availability vary by category and by registration period.
