Event Overview
The Conquer the Peaks of Silver Mountain Trail Run is a two-day mountain sports event held at Silver Mountain Resort in Kellogg, Idaho. Scheduled for August 21-22, 2026, the event features trail running and hiking options high above the resort grounds. Participants utilize the longest gondola in the United States to reach the starting line at the top of the mountain.
The event includes two primary distances:
- 13k Trail Run/Hike
- 2 Mile Trail Run/Hike
The courses traverse alpine scenery, forested sections, and technical climbs characteristic of the local mountain terrain. Weekend Activities
In addition to the races, the resort hosts a two-day vendor village and expo. This marketplace features outdoor accessories, running gear, and nutrition products from various sponsors. Throughout the weekend, the event organizers conduct giveaways for items such as high-tech watches and trail gear.
