5k for Kelli
The 5k for Kelli is an annual charity run and walk held in Dayton, Ohio. The event takes place on August 15, 2026 at The Flying Field at Wegerzyn, 1301 E. Siebenthaler Avenue, and begins and ends next to Wegerzyn Gardens. The course is a 3.1 mile out and back that follows the Stillwater River.
The event is presented by the Breast Wishes Foundation and states that 100% of proceeds go to granting wishes for women with breast cancer. Organizers encourage participants to wear fairy-themed costumes such as tutus, wings, and flower crowns. A merchandise tent is available with proceeds directed to the foundation. Free fairy face painting and colored hair spraying are offered on site.
Fees and registration details are published by the organizer. Early registration is listed at $30 through July 2, 2026, with a $35 rate thereafter; registering by July 25 is noted to guarantee a t-shirt. Awards include medals, prizes, and gift cards for the top three male and female overall finishers and the top three male and female finishers in each age category. Age groups are 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 and over.
