Kelleys Island 5 & 10K Run/Walk
The event takes place on May 31, 2026 on Kelleys Island, with races starting from Memorial Park. The route follows a scenic island course along the lakefront and includes water stations along the way.
Distances offered:
- 5K Walk
- 5K Run (3.1 miles)
- 10K Run (6.2 miles)
- Kid Fun Run (1 mile)
Registration opens February 20, 2026. An early bird rate of $30 is available for pre-registration before April 30, 2026. Registering before May 1 guarantees a race shirt. The first 250 registered participants receive a race bag. Fees in the listing show $30 for the main events and $5 for the Kid Fun Run.
Pre-race packet pickup is available at Docker's Waterfront Bar & Restaurant the day before the race and on race day at Memorial Park. The island is served by the Kelleys Island Ferry Boat Line and the Jet Express; ferry service is weather-dependent and participants should monitor operator updates and the Kelleys Island Chamber of Commerce for service changes.
Awards are presented to the top overall male and female in the 5K Walk, 5K Run, and 10K Run. Age-group awards for the 5K Run and 10K Run are given to the top three males and females in the following groups: 19 & under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65+. Chip timing is provided by Advanced Sports Timing and results are posted live. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
