Keith Hall Memorial 10km
The Keith Hall Memorial 10km is an established road running event organized by the Thorney Running Club, which has held local races for over 40 years. Based at Bedford Hall in Thorney, the event utilizes an out and back route on closed roads. The course passes through the village of Thorney and extends onto the surrounding Fen roads. The race serves as a qualifying event for the England Athletics Age Group Masters programme and is a constituent part of the Cambridgeshire AA Road Race League. Participants in the main race must be at least 15 years old. While the 10 km race requires advance registration, entries for the separate Fun Run are available on the day.
Finishers receive medals, and the organizers provide awards for various age categories as well as team prizes. The Fun Run includes specific prizes for junior age categories. Although entries are non-refundable and cannot be deferred, the event allows transfers to other runners until a specified deadline shortly before the race date.
