Keep the Parade Running 5K Run / 1 Mile Fun Walk

The event takes place on Saturday, April 11, 2026 in Glenside, PA at 2519 Jenkintown Road. It is hosted by the Greater Glenside Patriotic Association and supports the community 4th of July fireworks and parade. The course uses a scenic double-loop through Glenside with rolling hills. The start and finish are at North Penn VFW Post 676.

Registration, logistics and results

Registration fees are $30 early and $35 after the early period; the price increases after March 22, 2026 at 11:59pm EDT. The early fee includes a race shirt; shirts after the early period are available while supplies last. Team discounts apply for groups of five or more. The event is held rain or shine and there are no refunds.

Packet pick-up is available in person on Friday, April 10 inside North Penn VFW Post 676 (6:00-8:00 PM) and on race day inside the same location (6:30-7:30 AM). Awards include medals for the top three overall finishers of each gender and age-group awards for categories from 7 & under up to 80+. Timing is provided by Bryn Mawr Racing Co.; results will be posted at brynmawrracing.com immediately following the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
