Keep the Parade Running 5K Run / 1-Mile Fun Walk
This event on April 10, 2027, is a community running and walking event in Glenside, Pennsylvania, with start and finish at North Penn VFW Post 676, 2519 Jenkintown Road. Registration fees are $30 through February 28 and include a race shirt. After February 28 the fee is $35 and shirts are available while supplies last. Registration opens July 4, 2026 and closes February 28, 2027. Team discounts are available for groups of at least five members. Packet pick-up is scheduled the day before the event at the North Penn VFW Post 676 and on race morning at the same location.
Awards include medals for the top three overall finishers of each gender and age group awards across standard youth and adult categories. Official timing is provided by a professional timing company and results are posted immediately following the event. Organizers request fundraising support by seeking donations from 50 family members, friends, coworkers, or neighbors; proceeds benefit the fireworks display.
