Keene Family YMCA Fall Foliage Trail Race
The Keene Family YMCA Fall Foliage Trail Race takes place on the trail system in Keene, New Hampshire. The event starts and ends at the local YMCA facility, located at 200 Summit Road. This event functions as a fundraiser to support the charitable work of the YMCA, helping to provide community access to various programs and services.
Participants can choose between two different distances:
- 5K Trail Run
- 10K Trail Run
The 5K course features a mix of terrain and is designed to serve as an introduction to trail running. It is characterized as a fast course. The 10K course includes segments of smooth singletrack and incorporates elevation gain throughout the route.
The race utilizes chip timing provided by Tri-State Racing. All individuals who complete their registration by September 1st are guaranteed a race t-shirt. Awards are presented to the top male and female finishers within several age categories, ranging from participants under 10 years old to those aged 60 and over.
