Keene Airport 5K

The Keene Airport 5K occurs at the Keene Dillant-Hopkins Airport in Swanzey, New Hampshire. This third annual event benefits the Keene Senior Center and features a course that begins at the airport terminal.

The route follows a 5 km distance on a tree-lined, paved road. The course is flat and passes through wetlands known for varied wildlife and bird watching. Because the path is sheltered within a wooded area, it provides protection from the wind. This event is open to multiple types of participants as the route is walker- and stroller-friendly.

The Keene Airport 5K is endorsed by the NE65 Plus Runners Club. Registered participants are eligible for various prizes, including a random drawing for a helicopter ride.
