13th Annual KC 5K Run/Walk for Food Pantries
The event takes place on August 15, 2026, at the St Pancratius Church parking lot, 4292 Seeger St, Cass City, MI. It is a community timed event organized by Central Thumb K of C # 8892 using the facilities of Our Lady Consolata Parish.
The main course is a town and country 5K that runs on pavement, gravel, and foot paths and includes a segment on a rail trail over the Cass River. A one-mile exercise walk remains on pavement and stays within town.

Registration opens January 16, 2026, and closes August 14, 2026. The stated registration fee is $25.00. Same-day registration and packet pickup are available the morning of the race inside the church social hall or in the parking lot depending on weather; race day registration carries the standard fee without a guaranteed tee shirt. T-shirt sizes listed for registration include S, M, L, XL, XXL.
Overall best female and male runners and walkers receive a special award. Medals are awarded to first, second, and third place in each age group. Net proceeds benefit Our Lady Consolata Parish Food Pantry at St. Agatha's in Gagetown, MI, and Revive Ministries Food Pantry in Cass City, MI.
