Kayla O'Mara Memorial Road Race
This event in Goodrich, Michigan includes a variety of participation options and both in-person and virtual formats. The in-person options listed are a 5k Run/Walk, a 5k Competitive Walk, and a 1/2 mile fun run. A Virtual Kayla O'Mara Memorial 5k is also offered with a virtual packet.
The 5k course starts on Hegel Road in front of Goodrich High School and returns for a finish on the track. Overall winners and course records are determined by gun time, while age group awards use chip time. The race course is open to traffic; participants are asked to move to the right as soon as possible.

- 5k Competitive Walk, registration fee $25; competitors must not run and should keep one foot on the ground at all times.
- 1/2 mile fun run, registration fee $5; it covers the final half mile of the 5k, begins on the paved bike path, goes through the parking lot onto the track, and finishers receive a medal and a post run snack.
- Virtual 5k includes a custom race bib, shirt, memorial finishers medal and other swag; shipping is not included and can be added for $6.
